Today, Obama is finally going to bow the gay extremists he has been shunning.  He is going to announce, according to an AP source to both Fox News and Townhall.com, that he is granting government benefits to same-sex partners of federal workers.  Nevermind that a majority of Americans believe this lifestyle is a choice and goes against their religious beliefs, he’s going to shove it down our throats.  Christianity cannot be funded or mentioned in government programs on the grounds it might offend someone, but this, which offends many taxpayers, is not open for debate.

Obama, supposedly a Christian, has supported so many things Christians would never support.  He has supported abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and now this.  Every month he takes more and more steps to eliminate the Christian element in our country and alienate Christians.  Yet, so many have abandoned their core beliefs and support him.  This must be why Rev. Jeremiah Wright requested God to damn America.

In the vein of Michelle Obama, I am today embarrassed of my country for the first time in my life.  I served in the Army under Reagan.  I was proud to serve and would have given my life for my country.  I believed in what it stood for.  Today, though, I can honestly say, I would not serve in the military, could not give my life for this government.

With the mounting debt he is running up to the Chinese and the immoral direction he is taking our country I don’t think it will survive much longer.  He keeps apologizing to everyone for our behavior, past of course, surely he will simply sign over the deed to America soon.  He really is out to destroy America, if he hasn’t in spirit already.

As the “Hate Crime” bill makes its way through the Senate, having already passed the House, Christians and Conservatives have complained that the bill will be used to silence speech not in agreement with the Left’s “progressive” ideas.  We have stated our concern that it will be used to possibly jail those who speak their mind on “controversial” subjects.  We have repeatedly been told that something like that would never happen, that we have the right to say what we want and only those who actually commit crimes will be punished.  They have stated that the “incite” phrase of the bill wouldn’t, even couldn’t, be used against preachers and protesters.

Well, hold on to your hats!

Wacko Keith Olbermann has already lashed out over the killing of mass murderer George Tiller.  On a recent rant show of his, he unleashed on blogger Jill Stanek for her pro-life stance and speech.

The winner, Jill Stanek of the infamous WorldNetDaily, who did not get the point in the assassination of Doctor George Tiller, that you can be complicit in such a crime, even if you never met the man nor his assassin.

As you can see, already we are hearing, not only here but elsewhere in MSM land, that we on the pro-life side are to blame for the death of this killer.  Nevermind that there have already been far more people from the pro-life movement who have denounced his killing than you’ll ever hear Muslims denounce the violence of terrorist killing in the name of Allah.  It’s just further proof that if the “hate crime” legislation is passed, we can kiss our 1st Amendment freedoms good-bye.

After years of wrong votes and embarrassing his party, one of the biggest RINOs in Congress finally gets something right; Arlen Specter will switch to the Democratic Party for the 2010 election.  In his own words, the Democrat Party is more in line with his beliefs than the Republican.  This would be because the Republican Part is closer to a conservative party than the Democrats will ever be.

Arlen has been a pro-choice, tax-and-spend Senator for quite some time.  He has voted anti-life on many occasions and voted for the recent Stimulus debacle.  He has, in fact, been the poster child for the definition of a RINO.

The funny thing is that he claims he came into office as part of the “diversity” that swept in with Reagan.  That makes me wonder if he read anything Reagan believed in.  Considering Reagan ushered in a revival of conservative principals, Arlen missed that one, too.

For years I was disappointed in Pennsylvania Republicans that they couldn’t put an end to Specter’s reign of liberalism.  At least now he’ll help them out by getting out of the way.  Of course, the funny thing will be when Democrats won’t vote for him because they won’t forgive him for his former allegiance.

So, along with many, many other true Conservatives, we say “thank you and good-bye” to Arlen.”  Good riddance.

With the impending GIVE and SERVE legislation now before Congress, slavery is making a comeback, thanks to the Democrat Party and President Barack Obama.  The ACLU has fought for years to keep criminals in prison from having to work hard, claiming you can’t make them work against their will, yet now Pelosi, Reid and Obama want to bring slavery to a youth near you.

These two slavery bills will force young people to “give” two years of service in the public sector.  They will have no say in the matter.  This volunteer legislation is clearly involuntary servitude.

This is just a mandatory expansion of the AmeriCorps program.  This program has, in the past, benefited groups like ACORN and help lobby congress on behalf of individuals and legislation beneficial to the left.  So, of course Democrats see nothing wrong with it.  They’re superior and their causes greater, remember?

I just find it ironic that this President will be the one to reinstate slavery into the United States.  Remember, though, it was the Republicans who fought to eliminate slavery, who fought for and won civil rights legislation, and have fought for freedom and the Constitution over the last 100 years.  Slavery and elitism has been a mainstay of the left and Democrats for a long time.

Some have even likened this program to the Hitler Youth movement in Nazi Germany.  I can see the similarities.  Again, it’s ironic that the left has been calling Bush and the Republicans facists and nazis for years, yet since they have been in power, they are taking over the private sector, banking and now reviving an old Hitler program.

Today, on WorldNetDaily, an article is reporting that Judge Ned Mangum is the latest in a growing line of judges deciding they will determine what is best for children, not their parents.  Judge Ned Mangum, presiding over a divorce, has determined that even though the children, ages 10, 11 and 12, are all at least two grades ahead, it would be in their best interest to be re-inserted into the public school system so their mother’s “narrow” views won’t harm them.  This invasion of rights, coming from someone sworn to uphold the Constitution is nothing short of treason.

Everyone involved in this case, from the judge to the father of the children and his attorney, all acknowledge that the children are receiving a premium education and are years advanced of their peers.  No one doubts the mother’s love and care of the children.  The only concern they have expressed is that they children may not be receiving enough “socialization” in the process.  This despite the fact that the mother has them involved in several activities, including a swim team and church.

It’s not as though these children have never been in public school.  They have only been homeschooled for the past few years.  Before that, they were in the local public school system, where they struggled.  The mother pulled them from that atmosphere so they could have the best possible education.  They have excelled since, catching up and passing their peers.  This, though, is not good enough for the adulterous father and treasonous judge.

Is this important to those outside the homeschooling community?  You better believe it!  While it may attack homeschooling today, it could impact other rights in the future.  And, if Sen. Diane Feinstein has her way, the U.S. will adopt an UN treaty on children’s rights, which will effectively strip parents of all rights and decisions regarding their children.

So, I hope you’ll join me in expressing outrage at Judge Ned Mangum.  Most of the time these judges are unelected officials and removing them from office can be very difficult.  The time may have come to begin accusing these so-called “defenders of freedom” of treason and having them arrested to remove them from office.  We cannot allow the judges to trample our rights and steal them from us.  Demand they do their job and defend freedom and personal rights.

During his campaign, we heard two words from Obama; hope and change.  Hope is pretty ambiguous.  How can we really measure that?  Could it be the doom and gloom that have pervaded the first 50 days of his Presidency?  Could it be when he told us it might take a while before we see improvement?

Change, though, is really easy to measure.  How do his actions differ from those of previous administrations?  Are the proposals a move in a different direction from where we were heading?  That’s where I have to take issue with the Obamessiah.

Has there been change?  Yes, there has.  He has reversed the Bush policies of keeping terrorist off our soil.  He closed Gitmo and tribunals against terrorists and will bring them here so they can use ACLU lawyer to finish what they started.  He has reversed Bush policy by exporting death by sending taxpayer dollars overseas to support abortion on a global scale.  He has reversed Bush policy by allowing taxpayer dollars to be spent to fund an immoral and extremely ineffective research, embryonic stem cell research.

In these areas, we must ask ourselves, though, is this change good?  Each of those policies seem to be steps on the wrong direction.  They take us further and further from the moral high ground and self-protection.  They destroy our country.  Just like the change Hitler, Lenin and Stalin brought to their countries, this is not good change.

But, hey, its change, right?

In other areas, though, has he really brought change?  Has he really reversed the policies of Bush when it comes to spending?  He just signed a massive stimulus bill that has no more oversight than the TARP bill Bush pushed on us.  He is about to sign a $410 billion spending bill that has far too many pork projects, just as bills Bush signed in his waning years in office.  He has agreed to continue the failed policy of “No Child Left Behind” (or as I like to call it, “Every Child Left Behind”), meaning there will be no improvement in the education of our children for at least one year, most likely more.  Aren’t these areas we really needed change and areas where he promised change?

Did we really believe he was about this kind of change, though?  As a Senator, he was responsible for an unbelievable amount of pork in each and every bill he actually voted on.  He couldn’t have cared less about the people’s money then, why would he now?  And, isn’t NCLB really an education bill Democrats wanted, they were just upset a Republican President got it through?  It seems to fit the Democrats style; bring the top performers down to the level of the below average, they feel better about themselves and the low standards make it look like everyone is succeeding.

None of this even takes into account the ethical vacuum he continues to bring with him.  Ethics are void in Washington and his cabinet picks magnify that.  Knowing, though, of his associations with people such as Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, are we really surprised?

Seeing the kind of change he really supports and the kind he is incapable of bringing, I wonder how long the honeymoon will last?  I’m not sure it will last a full 100 days.  I certainly hope it won’t.  Our country can’t take much more change from this guy.
